Job summary

DigiKey Outfitters at DigiKey Electronics is hiring a Retail Store Associate to support daily store operations, stock merchandise, manage the point-of-sale system, and ensure a welcoming shopping environment for team members and visitors.

You will work closely with store teammates and vendors, assist with promotions and events, and help keep inventory accurate while delivering excellent customer service. This on-site role requires daily presence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of retail, customer service or related experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of retail sales and customer service practices.
• Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers and answering questions.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Handle returns, refunds, and exchanges per store procedures.
• Stock, organize, and replenish merchandise to keep shelves neat.
• Assist with promotions, events, and merchandise programs.
• Maintain clean, safe store environment and visual presentation standards.
• Support community relations and events as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and vendors to address requests.
