Job summary

Amtel Repair is seeking a Cell Phone Repair Technician in Phoenix to diagnose and repair a variety of mobile devices and consumer electronics. The role emphasizes customer service, technical troubleshooting, and a willingness to learn.

We offer an all-in pay with base and bonuses from $16 to $18 per hour, plus health benefits, PTO, 401k, and opportunities for career growth. Evening/weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Face-to-face customer service experience.
• Experience with product service support or troubleshooting electronics.
• Selling accessories, device care along with smart watches, headsets and other like products.
• Knowledge of mobile devices, operating systems, laptops, gaming systems, and other electronic devices.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Sales experience is a big plus.
• Any wireless device repair certifications are a plus (i.e., Apple Certified Technicians, CTIA WISE Certifications)

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assess customer device needs to deliver outstanding service.
• Resolve customer issues relating to equipment problems by repairing phones, tablets, and other consumer electronics.
• Stay up to speed on newly released and upcoming technology in the industry.
