Job summary

Amtel Repair | CPR-Provo is seeking a friendly Cell Phone Repair Technician to diagnose and repair smartphones, tablets, and other electronics while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced shop.

The role demands strong communication, the ability to learn repair techniques, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior sales experience is a plus and benefits include PTO, 401k, and health benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Face-to-face customer service experience.
• Experience with product service support or troubleshooting electronics.
• Selling accessories and device care with smart watches and headsets.
• Knowledge of mobile devices, operating systems, laptops, gaming systems, and other electronics.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Sales experience is a big plus.
• Any wireless device repair certifications are a plus (e.g., Apple Certified Technicians, CTIA WISE).

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assess customer device needs to deliver outstanding service.
• Resolve customer issues relating to equipment problems by repairing phones, tablets, and other consumer electronics.
• Stay up to speed on newly released and upcoming technology in the industry.
