Job summary

IT-Asset-Solution seeks a dependable Dismantling & Sorting Associate to process, sort, dismantle, and prepare electronic materials for recycling, resale, and downstream processing. You will work with a variety of electronic devices, using hand and power tools, ensuring accurate labeling, packaging, and safe handling per company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Commitment to safety and following procedures.
• No felony convictions in last 7 years for theft or burglary.

Responsibilities

• Sort and identify electronic devices and materials for resale, dismantling, recycling, or destruction.
• Safely unload and process materials from pallets, Gaylords, and containers.
• Dismantle electronic devices using hand and power tools.
• Separate materials into designated streams while preventing cross-contamination.
• Sort and properly package various types of universal waste batteries.
• Label materials and containers according to requirements.
• Package materials securely to prevent breakage or leakage.
• Identify and handle data-bearing devices and potentially hazardous materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and material-handling procedures.
• Report spills, leaks, injuries, or safety concerns to management.
• Follow project-specific instructions from leads or supervisors.
