Qualifications

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do as a Dismantling Associate

As a key member of our Dismantling/Warehouse Operations team, you’ll play an essential role in breaking down electronics and preparing materials for recycling. Your responsibilities will include:

• Safely dismantling electronic equipment like computers, monitors, and other devices using hand and power tools.
• Sorting and separating materials such as metals, plastics, circuit boards, and wiring.
• Operating recycling equipment, including balers, while following all safety procedures.
• Identifying materials requiring special handling and notifying supervisors as needed.
• Keeping your workstation clean, organized, and safe throughout your shift.
• Collaborating with teammates to meet productivity and quality expectations.
• Assisting with other warehouse tasks as directed by supervisors or management.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking candidates with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:

• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in warehouse, recycling, dismantling, manufacturing, or production is preferred.
• Skills: Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is a plus. The ability to identify and separate different types of materials is important.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand for extended periods, repeatedly bend and lift materials, and safely handle items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Language Skills: Spanish-speaking or Chinese/Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred but not required.
• Safety Focus: A strong understanding of and adherence to safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and equipment.
