Job summary

Jabil Memphis is seeking a Quality Technician II to perform in-process, final, and incoming inspections, tests, and documentation to ensure products meet established standards throughout manufacturing. The role uses calipers, micrometers, CMM and other tools.

Responsibilities include recording results, identifying non-conforming materials, assisting root-cause investigations, supporting audits, and collaborating with multiple departments to improve processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in a technical field is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in quality control or manufacturing environment (electronics preferred).
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
• Proficiency with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical comparators).
• Basic understanding of SPC and ISO 9001.
• Good written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, final, and incoming inspections per quality plans and specs.
• Conduct tests using appropriate equipment and record results accurately.
• Identify non-conforming materials/products and initiate corrective actions.
• Assist root cause investigations and support preventive measures.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve quality issues.
