Job summary

Openwork, formerly Meador Staffing, is hiring an Electronics Quality Inspector II in Webster, TX to join our manufacturing quality team. You will perform visual and mechanical inspections on electronic components and assemblies to verify conformance with specifications and standards, and you will document results and non-conformances.

The role is temp-to-hire with a typical schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering $18.00–$20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years of Electronic Manufacturing experience
• Quality Control and Inspection experience required
• Ability to use calibration and testing tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and mechanical inspections of electronic components and assemblies to ensure they meet predefined specifications and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and non-conformance reports. Document and report defects or deviations from quality standards.
• Participate in root cause analysis on quality issues and work with engineering and production teams to resolve problems and prevent recurrence
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Familiarize yourself with relevant standards.
• Verify calibration of inspection tools and equipment as needed. Ensure that all inspection tools are maintained in good working order.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on quality issues and suggesting process improvements.
• Assist in training production staff on quality standards and best practices
