Job summary

Captor Corporation in Tipp City, OH is hiring for a 1st shift Quality role. Reports to the Quality Manager. This full-time, hourly position offers a pay scale of $25.00–$36.00 per hour and a Monday–Friday schedule with some flexibility to support business needs.

The role develops test philosophy, improves fixture design, and ensures documentation accuracy. You will perform root-cause analysis, support training, and coordinate RMA while aiding production quality and customer feedback processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in an electronic assembly environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and adapt quickly to change.
• Willing to work outside of core hours.
• Ability to read and interpret product blueprints.
• Knowledge of product testing processes.
• Technical writing skills and documentation experience.
• 2-year technical degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop test philosophy and documentation for new products and qualification.
• Improve test accuracy and times through fixture design.
• Resolve issues with internal documentation.
• Provide training and training support.
• Root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Resolve technical hold issues and lead RMA coordinator.
• Monitor in-process inspection and support process improvements.
• Support filter assembly process and current production investigations.
• Analyze customer feedback data and drive process improvements.
• AS9102 FAIR preparation and internal audits.
