Qnity is seeking a Packaging Technician to support our manufacturing operations in Midland, Michigan. You will operate and maintain packaging equipment, ensure accurate labeling, and help prepare shipments for customers.

The role requires a high school diploma, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, basic data-entry skills, and a commitment to safety. You will join a collaborative team in a fast-paced warehouse environment with rotating 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and label generation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain packaging equipment, including filling and sealing equipment.
• Inspect packaged products for quality, ensuring proper labeling, sealing, and containment.
• Prepare shipping documentation and labels accurately for outgoing packages.
• Monitor inventory of packaging materials and report shortages to supervisors.
• Load and unload materials and finished products, adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the packaging area.
• Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including picking and packing.
