Primary Responsibilities
  1. Work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop test hardware and software from requirements definition through deployment at manufacturing facilities. Systems include analog, mixed-signal, and RF applications at board and system level. Opportunity to work on diverse projects in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Collaborate with design, test, and manufacturing engineers to understand assembly and testing requirements.
  3. Coordinate with suppliers to manufacture test hardware.
  4. Implement test software for testing production assemblies.
  5. Identify and mitigate test readiness issues during development.
  6. Set up manual or automated test equipment for functional, environmental, and life tests to evaluate performance and reliability.
  7. Analyze test results and recommend corrective actions.
  8. Suggest improvements to test procedures to simplify testing and assembly processes.
  9. Work on products for both military and commercial customers.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience testing electronic assemblies, including using In-circuit Functional Testers.
  • Proficiency with schematic capture tools for designing test hardware.
  • Experience developing test code using NI LabVIEW, TestStand, or Python.
  • Skills in troubleshooting electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies to component level, using test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
  • Computer skills for creating manufacturing documents, work instructions, parts lists, etc.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and manufacturing documentation.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related experience.
  • NI LabVIEW certification (CLAD/CLD).
  • Knowledge of RF test equipment such as Network and Spectrum Analyzers, RF generators.
