Job summary

XKL, LLC in Redmond, WA is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Floor Supervisor to lead our assembly team and own production execution on the floor. You will enforce ERP discipline and partner with engineering to meet quality, safety, and throughput targets.

You will manage hardware technicians, drive continuous improvement, and help scale the manufacturing organization with Lean/5S principles. This role is 100% onsite and reports to the Director of Engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of supervisory or team leadership in electronics/manufacturing.
• Technical Aptitude: hardware assembly, system-level testing, troubleshooting, reading schematics/build instructions.
• ERP Familiarity: experience using ERP systems to monitor work orders and material availability.
• Leadership Style: hands-on on the floor with strong communication to leadership and technicians.
• Knowledge Base: familiarity with ESD standards, quality control, and Lean/5S principles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily assembly, testing, and firmware flashing operations.
• Manage line balancing and assign daily work to technicians.
• Directly manage, mentor, and coach the technician team; develop onboarding and training pipelines.
• Drive and enforce ERP transaction accuracy on the production floor; log labor and materials.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineer to resolve defects, optimize layouts, and reduce cycle times.
• Maintain a safe, organized, ESD-compliant environment and ensure calibration of equipment.
