Foxconn Industrial Internet in Houston is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support, configure, optimize, and maintain advanced production equipment used in electronics manufacturing. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with SMT processes, automation systems, and PCB assembly equipment in a high-volume environment.

You will work with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Process Engineering teams to improve yield, throughput, and quality, while ensuring safety and procedural

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing / PCB assembly / SMT environment.
• Strong understanding of SMT process flow and PCB assembly operations.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical/electrical diagnostic skills.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Mansioni

• Set up, configure, and optimize SMT/automation production equipment for quality output.
• Support and manage SMT placement machines, reflow ovens, PCB routers, AOI, and X-ray systems.
• Troubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime with root-cause analysis.
• Improve processes for yield, throughput, and quality performance.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Process Engineering teams.
• Maintain machine parameters, setup docs, and process standards.
• Support new product introductions, line transfers, and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures.
