Job summary

Austin Sensing Company is seeking an Electronics Engineering Technician in Austin, TX to build, test, and troubleshoot electronics behind sensing systems. You will work with engineers on prototype boards, hardware modifications, test setups, and production assemblies in a hands-on lab.

Responsibilities include soldering, cable harness work, measuring signals, and documenting results. The role emphasizes careful workmanship, clear records, and adherence to ESD and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience assembling, testing, or repairing electronic hardware.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings.
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and lab test equipment.
• Knowledge of ESD controls and safe lab practices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, inspect, and modify circuit boards and electronic assemblies for development and production.
• Perform soldering and rework on surface‑mount and through‑hole components.
