Job summary

Astranis Space Technologies in San Francisco, CA is seeking a Material Handler to accurately receive, store, and issue electronic components (SMT, passive, active, harness) in support of production and engineering. This role ensures inventory accuracy, complies with ESD and lot/date controls, and contributes to continuous improvement of warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years inventory experience in electronics manufacturing or aerospace.
• Experience with ERP systems and barcode scanning tools.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Monitoring: Track, audit, and manage inventory levels within the warehouse to ensure accuracy. Conduct regular stock & cycle counts, and reconciliation processes to maintain accurate inventory data
• Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify trends, track item usage, and forecast demand. Use findings to recommend adjustments in stock levels to meet operational requirements while minimizing excess inventory
• Warehouse Coordination: Work closely with production teams to ensure timely and accurate product storage, retrieval, and consumption. Collaborate to resolve any inventory discrepancies or issues that arise
• System Management: Update and maintain the inventory management system with real-time data on stock levels, item movements, and production consumption
• Process Improvement: Evaluate current warehouse inventory processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline operations
