Job summary

SoundOff Signal is seeking a motivated technician to hand-solder, inspect and repair SMT boards in a low-noise, temperature-controlled facility. You will read engineering drawings, use testing devices and rotate across SMT operations to support tight production schedules.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and two years’ experience with soldering and PCB testing, working well with a diverse team and maintaining high quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years experience with the required skills.
• Familiar with engineering drawings and testing procedures.
• Proficient in soldering, de-soldering and fine pitch components.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and maintain quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand soldering, touch-up, complex repairs and testing of electronic PCBs.
• Inspect board assemblies for quality and conformity.
• Read engineering drawings and use test devices for verification.
• Rotate through all SMT operations and maintain tool readiness.
• Work as part of a team in a fast-paced, low-noise environment.
