Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years experience with the required skills.
• Familiar with field concepts, practices and procedures.
• Willing and able to train others in all department processes.
• Proficient PC and Windows operating system user; knowledge of meters and other test devices.
• Solder and de-solder fine pitch components and repair electronic circuits.
• Perform complex inspection of electronic circuit boards and repairs.
• Detail oriented and able to work as a team with diverse people.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and precision.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates core values in daily interactions with customers.
• Hand soldering, touch-up, complex repairs and testing of SMT PCBs.
• Understand electronic component identification and follow engineering drawings.
• Fine pitch surface mount rework and component replacement to meet standards.
• Inspect board assemblies and determine issues with components.
• Operate and maintain hand tools/soldering iron and read work instructions.
• Rotate in all SMT operations and follow direction from Department Lead.
• Perform other complex tasks as assigned and maintain high department quality.
