Job summary

SoundOff Signal in Hudsonville, MI is seeking an Electronics Assembler/Technician to inspect, assemble, and test SMT boards following ISO work instructions. You will solder, rework, and repair PCBs, read engineering drawings, and verify components for quality and conformity.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 2 years of relevant experience, plus proficiency with Windows and testing devices. It’s a fast-paced, team-oriented position in a light manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

General Position Overview

This position is responsible for following ISO work instructions to produce quality products in a timely manner. The principal focus will be:

• Conduct visual quality inspections including 1st piece
• Meet specified labor standards.

Essential Job Functions

Competent in the function of:

• Hand soldering, touch-up, complex repairs and testing of all electronic printed circuit boards.
• In-depth understanding of electronic component identification (I.D. by type, polarity and value)
• Able to utilize engineering drawings.
• Fine pitch surface mount rework.
• Defining and resolving problems, collecting data, and establishing facts to draw valid conclusions.
• Repairing and replacing defective components to ensure the product meets company conformity standards.

This position will:

• Inspect board assemblies.

Job Requirements
