Job summary

S&C Electric in the United States is seeking a Test Engineer to support the electronics hardware portfolio. You will focus on sustaining engineering, reliability, and development of test fixtures and documentation to ensure product quality.

Responsibilities include test planning, ECO processes, cross-functional collaboration with Design, Hardware, Software, and Manufacturing, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in a hybrid Alameda, CA environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in electronics/electrical engineering or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in Test Engineering and Test Fixture Build.
• Understanding of manufacturing technologies, preferably PCBA/semiconductor.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication abilities.
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Testing & Analysis: create test specs, execute plans, analyze data and support root-cause analysis.
• Document Control & ECO: maintain engineering docs, BOM updates, test reports, ECO processes.
• Continuous Improvement: monitor production performance, suggest design/process improvements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: coordinate with Design, Hardware, Software, Manufacturing, Project Management.
• Product Support: troubleshoot issues in volume production and conduct NMR/RMA testing.
