Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in electronics technology or related field.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic hardware.
• Ability to diagnose failures at board and component level.
• Proficiency with electronic test and measurement equipment.
• Experience with soldering, desoldering, and rework techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment to the component level.
• Perform diagnostic testing to identify hardware failures and performance issues.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Replace and rework electronic components using soldering/desoldering techniques.
• Use oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators, and power supplies to evaluate performance.
• Conduct functional, environmental, and validation testing of repaired hardware.
• Document repair activities, test results, failure analyses, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to resolve issues and improve reliability.
• Participate in root cause investigations and support corrective and preventive actions.
