Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in electronics.
• Strong understanding of electronics theory and electro-mechanical principles.
• Ability to read complex schematics and assembly manuals.
• Skilled with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, generators).
• Ability to operate safely and follow lab procedures.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and install electronics hardware including chassis, PCBs, cabling, and racks.
• Support accelerator operations, upgrades, and maintenance projects.
• Respond to operational needs and assist in troubleshooting beamline systems.
• Read schematics and perform layout, calibration, and testing.
• Select components and follow standards for packaging and manufacturing.
• Install, test, calibrate, and maintain electronic systems in lab and shop.
