A leading educational institution is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Electronics Engineering Technology program in South Carolina. This role involves overseeing daily operations, teaching, curriculum development, and evaluating student performance. Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Under the supervision of the dean, the program coordinator is responsible for the daily operations of the Electronics Engineering Technology and Electrical Engineering transfer program. The coordinator is responsible for teaching courses, designing and developing curriculum, hiring and evaluating adjunct personnel, evaluating student performance, and advising students. In addition, the program coordinator is responsible for the maintenance and safe operation of all program labs.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering and a minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible related work/industry experience. A master’s degree in electrical engineering with 18 graduate hours in Electrical Engineering is preferred. FE exam certification is highly preferred.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential. Must be able to function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology.
