Trident Technical College is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Electronics Engineering Technology and Electrical Engineering transfer program. This role involves curriculum design, teaching, and operational oversight, along with mentoring students and supervising adjunct staff. Job Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the dean, the program coordinator is responsible for the daily operations of the Electronics Engineering Technology and Electrical Engineering transfer program. The coordinator is responsible for teaching courses, designing and developing curriculum, hiring and evaluating adjunct personnel, evaluating student performance, and advising students. Additionally, the program coordinator oversees the maintenance and safe operation of all program labs.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Engineering, along with a minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible related work or industry experience. A master’s degree in electrical engineering with 18 graduate hours in Electrical Engineering is preferred. FE exam certification is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential. Ability to adapt in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology is also required.
