Job summary

ROHM Semiconductor USA in Santa Clara, CA seeks a highly motivated HTOL Support Technician to join the team. You will perform testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying developmental and production electronic components, circuitry, parts, equipment, and systems.

This is an on-site role in Santa Clara, five days per week. The candidate should have AA or post-secondary education in electronics, 0–2 years of related experience, and a strong focus on safety and detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance on HTOL lab equipment.
• Visual inspection, loading, and unloading of silicon devices under test.
• HTOL reliability test startup, monitoring, and reporting.
• Keep clear logs of HTOL reliability tests, maintenance activities, and repairs performed.
• Calibrate equipment and run diagnostics tests.
• Follow established processes and safety standards.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as required and assigned.

SUMMARY

ROHM Semiconductor USA is seeking a highly motivated HTOL Support Technician to join our team! You will be responsiblefor testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying developmental and production electronic components, circuitry, parts, equipment, and systems. This position is in Santa Clara, California. This is an on-site position 5 days per week.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily to include but not limited to:

• Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance on HTOL lab equipment

• Visual inspection, loading, and unloading of silicon devices under tes

• HTOL reliability test startup, monitoring, and reporting

• Keep clear logs of HTOL reliability tests, maintenance activities, and repairs performed

• Calibrate equipment and run diagnostics tests

• Follow established processes and safety standards

• Additional duties and responsibilities as required and assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience/Training:

• Minimum AA/Post Secondary Education in Electronics
• Minimum 0-2 years of industry-related working experience
• Workplace safety standards and best practices
• Outstanding organizational and troubleshooting skills on electrical systems with exceptional attention to detail

Required Skills:

• Basic understanding of electronic circuit concepts and components, including resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, transistors, and integrated circuits (ICs)

• Practical experience with PCB schematics and layouts

• Multimeter, power supply, temperature chamber

• AC and DC voltage

• Soldering and rework of printed circuit board assemblies

• Microscope

• Excel and Power Point
