Aiken Technical College is seeking Electronics Engineering Adjunct Instructors to teach courses with hands-on and theory components. Classes may meet daytime, evenings, weekends, or online, and may include split schedules or dual enrollment in high schools.

This role requires organization for syllabi, reports, and lesson plans, with supervision of students across settings. Minimum qualifications include an Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering and five years of direct field experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related industrial discipline.
• Five years of direct experience in the field with demonstrated competencies.

Responsibilities

• Instruction including hands-on and theory, classroom management, and admin tasks such as reports, syllabus and lesson plan development.
• Prepare and maintain current syllabi for courses taught.
• Ensure that course is taught in accordance with the established syllabi.
• Recommend instructional materials for the course.
• Recommend adequate laboratory facilities/equipment for the course.
• Supervision of students.
