Aiken Technical College is seeking a Music Adjunct Instructor to join our team. You will deliver instruction that combines hands-on and theoretical approaches, manage the classroom, and handle administrative duties such as reports, syllabus, and lesson plan development.

Responsibilities include preparing current course syllabi, ensuring alignment with syllabi, and advising on instructional materials and lab facilities. Supervision of students is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Music or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Music is required.
• Duties include instruction, syllabus development, classroom management, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Instruction including hands on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development.
• Prepare and/or maintain current course syllabi for course taught.
• Ensure that course is taught in accordance with the established syllabi.
• Recommend for approval adequate instructional materials for course.
• Recommend adequate laboratory facilities/equipment for assigned course.
• Supervision of students.
