Job summary

Neuralink is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Surgery & Robot Hardware Team to design, verify, and move complex electronics systems into production. You will own projects such as robotics stage designs, motor drives, custom camera designs, and manufacturing automation, with firmware enabling all devices.

The role emphasizes autonomy, advanced power electronics, FPGA work, and safety-critical considerations for medical devices. Strong collaboration across disciplines is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience delivering all phases of electronics design (requirements, part selection, schematic, layout, manufacturing, test).
• Depth in at least one: Power electronics, FPGA design, or Test automation.
• Practical electronics design knowledge including EMC, ESD, thermals and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Design, verify, and oversee the transition to production of custom electronics systems.
• Own creative decisions and execute on projects such as robotics stage designs, motor drives and controls, and firmware.
