Job summary

Office of Naval Research is seeking engineers to design, develop, and test advanced Electronic Attack techniques and systems. You will work on RF receivers and transmitters, antennas, and wideband systems, and perform hardware-in-the-loop simulations in labs and in the field.

The role requires strong knowledge of RF concepts, EM theory, and signal processing, plus experience with C/C++ or Python and clear written and oral communication.

Qualifications

  • Experience in RF concepts, EM theory, antenna theory, and RF system design.
  • Proficiency in test/measurement of RF systems using RF test equipment.
  • Experience programming in C, C++ or Python; strong written/oral communication.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and test EW techniques and systems.
  • Analyze EW hardware components: receivers, transmitters, antennas, wideband/ultrawideband systems.
  • Conduct hardware-in-the-loop simulations and lab/field testing of EW systems.
  • Document and present research results in formal reports and presentations.
