Job summary
Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join the Mission Systems team in Baltimore, MD. You will provide technical assistance with the installation and test support of a phase array sensor system on a platform, acting as the knowledge expert on an MS team and coordinating with other engineers to ensure successful operation.
The position requires a STEM bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience (5+ years for Principal).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with airborne AESA radar/communications systems or related engineering disciplines.
- Willing to work rotating schedules, including periodic shift and weekend work.
- Willing to train in Baltimore and relocate to Palmdale after two years.
- US Citizenship and Top Secret clearance required; ability to obtain SAP clearance.
Responsibilities
- Post-installation and shop floor system testing coordination.
- Pre-mission system test support.
- Collect, evaluate and report test results.
- Troubleshoot electrical, electronic and test software.
- Recommend corrective actions for system repairs.
- Design and modify equipment processes to improve safety and efficiency.
- Provide direction during work by repair technicians.
- Support operational missions and customer meetings.
