Job summary

ZF Group in Farmington Hills, Michigan, is hiring a Hardware Electronics Engineer to support ADAS & HPC product design and development. The role involves collaborating with electrical, mechanical, system, software, and validation teams to advance camera products and deliver robust hardware solutions.

You will contribute to ISO 26262 safety work products and manage changes, PCB layouts, and documentation while ensuring quality and timely project delivery in a fast-moving automotive tech

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical engineering/design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, time-management, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create concise analyses, reports, and presentations for internal technical discussions and reviews.
• Support Core/Application ADAS Safety ECU and Camera product design and development cycles.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, system, software, and validation teams to develop camera products.
• Manage electrical engineering changes and update schematics, BOMs, PCB layouts, and application-specific documentation.
• Contribute to functional safety analysis, including ISO 26262 work products such as DFMEA, FMEDA, and Worst-Case Analysis.
• Support hardware verification, troubleshooting, EMC/EMI testing, environmental testing, release reporting, supplier coordination, and quality management activities.
