Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an early career Electronics Engineer to design and maintain EGSE for the FBM program. You will design, analyze, and troubleshoot hardware, contributing to mission-critical support equipment across the product life cycle.

The role requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and experience with basic test equipment. You will work onsite near Cape Canaveral, FL, on a 9x80 schedule, with no telework.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Professional experience in design, analysis, integration, test, and/or deployment of Electronics Equipment.
• Knowledge or experience using basic test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), and electronic loads.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus you are a US Citizen.

The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking an early career Electronics Engineer to design and maintain Electrical Ground Test Equipment throughout the product life cycle. This position does not support teleworking; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Cape Canaveral, FL and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full‑time.

Key activities you will accomplish in this role

On a day to day basis, the selected candidate will support the FBM EGSE organization by designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting hardware for Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE).

Researches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Professional experience in the design, analysis, integration, test, and/or deployment of Electronics Equipment.
• Knowledge or experience using basic test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), and electronic loads.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus you are a US Citizen.

Desired Skills

• Experience on space‑and/or missile‑defense missions.
• Testing avionics, electronic components, or electrical systems using purpose‑designed test equipment.
• Design, test, programming, and integration/deployment of automated test equipment (ATE).
• Creation, interpretation, and capture of electronic‑systems schematics and simulation tools using Zuken, Siemens CAD tools or similar tools.
• Performing electronics analyses such as Worst‑Case Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis, and Failure‑Modes‑and‑Effects Critical Analysis (FMECA).

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
