Job summary

Honeywell is seeking an Electronic Design Engineer II in Lancaster, PA, on-site. You will design analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronics for aerospace and industrial systems, from architecture to validation.

You’ll work with Altium/Cadence/Mentor, oversee PCB layout, perform tests and verifications, and ensure DFM/EMC compliance. A strong foundation in MCU/DSP, FPGA interfacing, and SPICE is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 3+ years of electronic hardware design and embedded system development.
• Experience with MIL-STD, DO-254, or IPC design standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Circuit Design & Simulation: Design analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits using industry-standard EDA tools (Altium, Cadence, or Mentor Graphics).
• PCB Layout & Prototyping: Oversee PCB stack-up, component placement, high-speed routing, and prototype bring-up.
• Hardware Testing & Verification: Perform comprehensive bench testing, signal integrity analysis, and environmental qualification testing.
• Design for Manufacturability (DFM): Ensure electronic designs meet strict DFM, DFT, and EMC/EMI compliance standards.
• Technical Documentation: Generate detailed schematics, BOMs, test procedures, and engineering change notices.
