You will report to the Electrical Engineering Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Johnson City, Tennessee.To be considered for the Electronics Design Engineer, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:* Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related technical degree and 2 years of electronics hardware design and development experience.* Experience designing PCB boards involving microprocessors and data communication.Desired Skills and Experience:* Knowledge of optical system design and related technologies.* Proven expertise in high-speed digital and analog circuit design, including work with Layer 2+ Ethernet switches, Ethernet PHYs, DC/DC power management, signal retimers/redrivers, FPGAs, CPLDs, and microcontrollers.* Hands-on experience with widely used communication protocols, including USB, CAN, RS-422, RS-485, SPI, I[2]C, and UART.As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will:Be responsible for development of new technology, products, and processes to meet cost, schedule and performance goals.
