Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or Engineering required.
• 8+ years with BA/BS or 6+ years with Master’s in Sourcing or SCM.
• Strong financial acumen related to sourcing and supply chain.
• Strong electronics technical background.
• Leadership and presentation skills.
• Aerospace & Defense experience desired.
• Proficiency with ERP systems to support business operations.
• 2+ years experience with FAR/DFARS contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop commodity category strategies to drive continuous value improvement for Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, and Sustainability within the supply base.
• Lead supplier identification, evaluation, negotiation, and award for first-time contracts meeting needs of multiple business units.
• Manage approved supplier list for electronics commodities.
• Support supply chain during win business process by onboarding critical suppliers.
• Analyze data to understand existing supply base and commodity categories.
• Perform market research and analyze trends for electronics category.
• Identify risks and opportunities within electronics and conduct SWOT/risk assessments.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine future needs and develop adaptable supply chains.
• Lead supplier evaluations to assess capabilities, people, and processes.
• Conduct spend analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities and lead initiatives.
• Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews for critical suppliers.
• Support Saab’s Small Business objectives and promote diverse supply base.
• Collaborate to develop supplier evaluation and scoring system.
