Job summary

Saab, Inc. seeks an Electronics Commodity Management Professional to lead strategic sourcing for electronics across North America and beyond.

You will develop category strategies, negotiate with suppliers, manage the supplier base, and drive cost reductions while ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS where applicable. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, including international Saab Affiliates, to forecast near and long-term electronics needs and to build an adaptable supply chain.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 8+ years with a BA/BS, or 6+ years with a Master's degree, in Sourcing or Supply Chain.
• Strong financial acumen related to sourcing and supply chain.
• Strong electronics technical background.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop commodity category strategies to drive value in Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation and Sustainability.
• Lead supplier identification, evaluation, negotiation and award for new suppliers.
• Manage approved supplier list for electronics suppliers.
• Support win-bid process by onboarding critical suppliers.
• Perform spend analysis to identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Lead quarterly business reviews with key suppliers.
