Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Commodity Management Professional to lead sourcing activities for electronics across North America and beyond. You will develop category strategies, evaluate suppliers, and manage spend to improve quality, delivery and cost while aligning with global needs.

The role requires a BA/BS in a relevant field, 8+ years of sourcing experience (6+ with an MS), and strong finance and electronics background. Domestic/international travel up to 25% may be needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Supply Chain Management or Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 8+ years with BA/BS, or 6+ years with a Master's, in Sourcing or SCM.
• Strong financial acumen related to sourcing and supply chain.
• Strong electronics technical background and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop commodity category strategies to improve Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation and Sustainability.
• Lead supplier identification, evaluation, negotiation and award of contracts.
• Manage approved supplier list for electronics commodities.
• Perform spend analysis and lead cost reduction initiatives with supplier agreements.
• Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews with key suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal/intl stakeholders to plan near and long-term needs.
