Saab, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Commodity Management Professional to lead strategic sourcing for electronics across North America and beyond. You will develop category strategies, lead supplier selections, and drive cost reductions while partnering with internal stakeholders.

The role emphasizes a strong electronics background, leadership, and the ability to manage global supplier relationships and risk assessments. Domestic travel up to 25% may occur.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering or equivalent is required
• 8+ years with a BA/BS, or 6+ years with a Master's, in Sourcing or Supply Chain Management
• Strong financial acumen related to sourcing and supply chain
• Strong electronics technical background
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Leadership and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Develop commodity category strategies to drive value in Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, and Sustainability
• Lead supplier selections and negotiations for new suppliers across multiple business units
• Manage approved supplier lists for electronics commodities
• Support win-bid processes by identifying and onboarding critical suppliers
• Analyze data to understand supply base and commodity categories
• Perform market research and analyze trends for electronics
• Identify risks and opportunities within electronics categories with SWOT analyses
