Job summary

Saab, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Commodity Management Professional to lead strategic sourcing for electronics across North America and beyond. You will develop category strategies, evaluate suppliers, and drive cost reduction while ensuring quality and delivery targets.

Ideal candidates have a strong electronics background, extensive sourcing experience, and leadership abilities. Domestic and international travel up to 25% and a security clearance pathway may be involved.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering or equivalent is required
• Strong financial acumen related to sourcing and supply chain
• Strong electronics technical background
• 8+ years with a BA/BS, or 6+ years with a Master's degree, of experience in Sourcing or Supply Chain Management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Leadership and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Develop commodity category strategies to drive value improvement in Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation, and Sustainability
• Lead identification, evaluation, negotiation, and award of first-time contracts with new suppliers
• Manage approved supplier list for electronics commodities
• Support win-bid processes by identifying and onboarding critical suppliers
• Perform market research, gather market intelligence, and analyze trends for electronics
• Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews with critical suppliers to manage performance
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop a supplier evaluation and scoring system
