Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Assembly Technician to perform back-end and box-build assembly, ensuring on-time shipments of quality products. You will work efficiently following workmanship standards and safety rules while maintaining equipment and cleanliness.

This role involves counting parts, using torque tools, scanning components, and following precise procedures to support production lines. Candidates should be able to read instructions, use PCs, and communicate effectively with team leads.

Qualifications

• Ability to calculate quantity of parts for prep and readiness.
• Ability to present information clearly to managers, clients, and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Proficiency with Windows OS and basic software used in manufacturing.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and read visual aids.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed verbal or written instructions with visual aids.
• Verify incoming material accuracy and perform FIFO storage.
• Manually assemble components using tooling, torque drivers, and hardware to a run rate.
• Scan components or sub-assemblies from flow racks or Kanban locations.
• Maintain certifications in Assembler I, Router, Press Fit, RTV operations.
• Perform DF Pre-Kitting Assembly/Test, Hi-Pot Test, Bundle Kitting and Pack-Out tasks.
• Pull and scan components from bins or flow racks as needed.
• Conduct physical inventory of parts in designated areas.
• Perform Purge processes when required.
• Maintain production equipment and 5S cleanliness in the area.
• Follow safety, health, and security procedures.
