Job summary

Jabil, a global manufacturing and engineering solutions provider, is seeking an assembler to perform back-end and box-build assembly processes ensuring on-time shipments of a quality product. The role emphasizes following detailed instructions, maintaining 5S workplaces, and upholding safety standards.

The position requires ability to handle parts prep, use of tooling and torque drivers, and proficiency with basic PC software.

Qualifications

Ability to calculate quantity of parts for prep and readiness.
Ability to present information clearly to managers and customers.
Ability to use a PC and Windows software.
Ability to read and understand visual aids and instructions.

Responsibilities

Follow detailed verbal or written instructions and visual aids.
Verify incoming material and store using FIFO system.
Manually assemble using tooling, torque drivers, and hardware at a predefined rate.
Scan components from flow racks or Kanban locations.
Maintain certifications in listed assembly and test operations.
Perform DF Pre-Kitting Assembly/Test, Hi-Pot, Bundle Kitting, and Pack-Out operations.
Pull and scan components from racks/bins.
Conduct physical inventory in designated areas.
Execute purge processes as needed.
Maintain production equipment and 5S cleanliness.
Adhere to safety rules and company security policies.
May perform other duties as assigned.
