Job summary

Jabil is seeking a front-line Assembler I to perform back-end and box-build assembly processes to ensure on-time shipments of a quality product. You will follow detailed instructions and utilize specific tooling and torque drivers to meet predetermined run rates, while maintaining 5S cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include verifying materials, scanning components, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment.

Qualifications

• Capable of calculating quantity of parts to be prepped and ready for use at any time.
• Ability to read and understand visual aids and simple instructions.
• Strong PC skills including basic data entry and using Windows-based software.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed verbal or written instructions, including visual aids.
• Verify incoming material for accuracy and store using FIFO inventory system.
• Manually assemble an assembly or box-build system using tooling, torque drivers, and hardware.
• Scan required components or sub-assemblies from flow racks, bin or Kanban locations.
• Maintain safety, 5S, and cleanliness in the work area.
