Job summary

Jabil, a leading engineering and manufacturing solutions provider, is seeking an Assembly Technician to perform back-end and box-build assembly ensuring on-time shipments and quality. The role requires following detailed instructions, handling inventories, and maintaining equipment per workmanship standards.

The candidate should be capable of reading visual aids, using Windows-based PC tools, and applying standardized processes.

Qualifications

Ability to calculate quantity of parts and prep materials.
Strong PC skills, Windows OS familiarity.
Ability to read and understand instructions and use visual aids.
Ability to work with standard procedures and meet run rates.
Effective communication with managers, clients and team.

Responsibilities

Follow detailed verbal or written instructions, including visual aids.
Verify incoming material for accuracy and store using FIFO inventory system.
Manually assemble an assembly or box-build system with specific tooling and torque drivers.
Scan components from flow racks, bins or Kanban locations.
Maintain production equipment and 5S cleanliness in the area.
Adhere to safety, health and security policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
