Job summary

Aerotek in Solon, OH is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a high‑tech electronics manufacturing team. You will assemble mechanical parts and subassemblies, read blueprints, use hand and power tools, and verify quality of each finished product.

This contract‑to‑hire role is onsite in Solon and offers a competitive pay range of $18.00 to $21.00 per hour, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Mechanical assembly experience.
• Ability to read work instructions and blueprints.
• Physical capability to be on feet and lift 30 lbs.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and torque wrenches.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical parts, subassemblies, and finished products.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings.
• Inspect and test completed assemblies for proper operation and quality.
• Identify defective materials and components.
• Complete production documentation and update work orders.
• Perform rework or adjustments when assemblies don't meet specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve assembly or design issues.
