Job summary

Advanced Technology Systems Company is seeking a skilled Production Technician to support assembly and system integration activities within a fast paced production environment. This role involves working with electronic components, off the shelf parts, manufactured components, wiring, hardware, and circuit board assemblies.

The Production Technician will provide basic technical guidance to ensure teams follow proper wiring and crimping techniques, mentor Assemblers, and participate in root cause

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in electronics or electromechanical assembly.
• 4+ years as a technician on electrical/mechanical assemblies.
• 3+ years in QC or sensor systems preferred.
• Experience with IPC/WHMAA620 and IPCA610 preferred.
• Able to obtain U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components per process docs.
• Safely use hand and power tools for daily tasks.
• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical assemblies with measurement tools.
• Follow manufacturing processes and report needed improvements.
• Program and configure network components per build instructions.
• Provide training to Assemblers/Technicians to ensure workmanship.
• Support root cause investigations and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with Production and Engineering to solve technical issues.
• Ensure quality and compliance with engineering requirements.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environment.
