Job summary

TOPS Staffing is hiring a PCB Electronics Technician for a growing electronics manufacturing company in the North Huntingdon area. This daylight shift runs Monday through Friday with a 45‑minute lunch and a competitive pay rate up to $22 per hour, based on experience.

Candidate will load PCBs into automated testing equipment, monitor programs, and document results. Occasional touch‑up soldering and strict adherence to work instructions are expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with PCBs or electronic assemblies.
• Ability to perform basic soldering or touch-up soldering.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions.
• Comfortable working with small electronic components.

Responsibilities

• Load completed PCBs into automated testing equipment.
• Start testing, monitor equipment, and document results.
• Record test results generated by testing equipment.
• Identify boards that fail testing and route per procedures.
• Perform occasional touch-up soldering and minor rework when needed.
• Read and follow basic work instructions and production docs.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.

PCB Electronics Technician Daylight Shift | Monday–Friday | Up to $22.00/hr

Location: North Huntingdon, PA; Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

TOPS Staffing is hiring a PCB Electronics Technician for a growing electronics manufacturing company in the North Huntingdon area. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous PCB assembly or electronics manufacturing experience who is looking to join a stable company with a consistent daylight schedule. This role is primarily responsible for testing completed circuit boards using automated test equipment and performing occasional touch‑up soldering when needed. Component‑level troubleshooting experience or abilities are not required for this role.

Schedule & Pay Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:15 PM (45‑minute lunch) Pay: Up to $22.00/hour, based on experience

What You'll Do

• Load completed printed circuit boards (PCBs) into automated testing equipment
• Start the testing process and monitor equipment while test programs run
• Record and document test results generated by the testing equipment
• Identify boards that do not pass testing and route them according to established procedures
• Perform occasional touch‑up soldering and minor rework when required
• Read and follow basic work instructions, assembly drawings, and production documentation
• Maintain accurate production and quality records
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safety focused

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with printed circuit boards (PCBs) or electronic assemblies
• Ability to perform basic soldering or touch‑up soldering
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow written work instructions
• Comfortable working with small electronic components
• Basic computer skills for documenting test results
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment IPC soldering certification is a plus, but not required
• Experience using automated PCB testing equipment is helpful but not required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand throughout the workday
• Good hand dexterity for handling small electronic components
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
• Good vision for detailed assembly and inspection work
