Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Yankton, SD, is seeking a full-time Production Assembler to perform electronic and mechanical assembly, winding, soldering, potting and testing on production lines. You will follow detailed work instructions, operate tooling, and contribute to quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to use hand and power tools, and the capability to work with microscopes during long shifts.

Qualifications

• No education required, but preferred.
• Ability to meet Vishay’s attendance policy (2% absenteeism rate or less annually).
• Ability to use a microscope for 8 hours daily.
• Ability to do repetitive tasks that require defined procedures.
• Ability to work in a team environment and independently while maintaining good working relationships with coworkers & supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of electronic/ mechanical assembly operations on production lines using the various processes of assembling, winding, soldering, potting, testing, and component inspection.
• Provides daily input into applicable database.
• Reads and follows work instructions to correctly position and align parts.
• Participation in continuous improvement and 5S.
• Other duties as assigned
