Job summary

Vishay Duluth is seeking an Operator 1 to build electronic components at our Duluth, MN facility. We will train you to wind, solder, crimp, mask, encapsulate, and assemble products, test parts, subassemblies and finished goods, then record results.

You will document test results, collaborate with engineers to improve efficiency and quality, and follow all EHS rules. Basic computer skills and attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• Able to use a microscope.
• Able to set up and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Train on building electronic components including winding, soldering, crimping, masking, encapsulating, and assembling products and testing parts, subassemblies and finished goods.
• Document test results and materials, and use measuring equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and other manufacturing team members to improve efficiency and quality; complete tasks as directed.
• Report any failure or dysfunctionality to supervisor.
• Follow all work rules and EHS regulations.
