Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proficient in hand soldering techniques and use of soldering irons, wire, and flux.
• Familiar with reading and interpreting assembly diagrams, work instructions, and blueprints.
• Knowledge of soldering methods including through-hole and SMT.
• Understanding of electronic components, polarities, and markings.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in soldering work.
• Able to work in a team and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Soldering operations using hand tools, irons, and equipment per specs and quality standards.
• Prepare components by cleaning, tinning leads, and applying flux.
• Assemble components onto PCBs, sub-assemblies, or final products per diagrams.
• Inspect solder joints and perform rework or touch-ups as needed.
• Maintain an organized workstation and ensure equipment is calibrated.
• Record production data, defects, and non-conformities to report to supervisors.
• Collaborate with engineering on process improvements and cost reductions.
• Follow safety protocols and industry standards for soldering and electronics assembly.
