Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Burbank, CA is seeking a Production Supervisor II to lead a manufacturing team in electronics assembly. You will ensure safety, quality, and on‑time delivery while applying lean tools and guiding problem-solving efforts.

The role requires 3+ years supervisory experience, knowledge of electronics manufacturing standards (IPC-A‑610, J‑STD‑001), and strong planning and communication skills to meet customer demand and budgets.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of Electronics components, circuitry and ESD awareness; able to read schematics.
• Familiar with IPC-A‑610 and J‑STD‑001 quality standards for soldered assemblies.
• Experience with data-driven problem solving (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone).
• Proficient with MS Office and production reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify and apply lean manufacturing tools to drive improvements and mentor teammates.
• Contribute to monthly/annual budgets with resource planning and productivity inputs.
• Support monthly reporting to senior management.
• Monitor KPIs and drive daily problem solving.
• Ensure quality issues are identified and managed through non-conforming materials processes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules.
