Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school education or GED required.
  • 1 year manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and process sheets.
  • Able to use basic hand tools and measurement devices.
  • Willing to operate high-temperature ovens and furnaces.
  • Willing to obtain solder, braze, and ESD certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts per process sheet/print instructions.
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, magnetic testing as required.
  • Set up fixtures and perform in-process hi-pot testing.
  • Perform vapor blasting and inventory verification.
  • Assist with layout procedures and process sheets.
  • Review material expiration dates to ensure current stock.
  • Proactively improve efficiency and quality of products.
  • Cross-train teammates as needed.
  • Complete labor tracking documentation.
  • Perform basic Oracle transactions when required.
  • Report problems to appropriate resource or coach.
  • Inform team of new processes and issues.
  • May interact with auditors; may require FAA certification.
  • Troubleshoot responsibilities as needed.
  • Participate in team initiatives.
  • Follow PPE and safety procedures.
  • Adhere to GE Leadership behaviors.
  • Other duties as required.
