Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Puerto Rico is seeking an Electronics Assembler to build electronic devices and subassemblies according to blueprints and specifications. You will use hand and power tools to ensure precise assembly and quality results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education with 1 year of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in English (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Assemble a wide variety of electrical subassemblies and systems from instructions, drawings, schematics, illustrations and process documentation.
• Plan, fabricate, assemble, disassemble, set up, test, inspect, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair electronic hardware and equipment.
• Perform routine to complex assembly operations to produce quality products in a timely manner.
• Analyze test results to verify acceptance criteria.
• Follow environmental, health, and safety directions and procedures.
• Possess the ability to see and interpret information on screens and materials for extended periods (post-offer vision examination).
